Jollenwanderer Deutschland is an open meeting point for people who enjoy multi-day trips in small sailing boats or would like to explore this style of sailing.

Start with the Google Group

We use a Google Group that works a little like a small online forum. You can read discussions, share experience and start new topics. You are welcome to browse first. To post and take part, you need a Google account; an existing email address can be used, so a Gmail address is not essential.

• Introduce yourself, your boat and the areas where you sail.
• Share questions about equipment, overnighting and route planning.
• Meet people interested in multi-day dinghy cruising.
• Suggest destinations, meet-ups or shared sailing legs.

No central organiser

JWD is not a club or a central tour operator. If people connect, regional contacts, spontaneous meet-ups, weekend trips or longer cruises may grow from that. The people involved decide locally what they want to do and how they communicate.

Different boats are welcome

This is not about one particular class, age or performance level. Traditional wooden dinghies, cruising dinghies, open keelboats and other small sailing boats can all be part of the community. What matters is sailing thoughtfully and enjoying the journey together.
